A Legacy of Academic Excellence Since 1968
Panchsheel Prakashan has been a trusted name in Indian academic publishing for over five decades — guiding academic learning, supporting educators, and empowering generations of Hindi-medium learners.
Our Story
Founded on 19 February 1968 in Jaipur, Panchsheel Prakashan began with a simple yet powerful belief: quality education should be accessible in one’s own language.
What started as a modest publishing initiative gradually evolved into a nationally respected academic publishing house, collaborating closely with educators and universities to produce reliable, syllabus-aligned textbooks.
Today, Panchsheel books continue to guide students through university examinations, competitive learning, and lifelong intellectual growth.

Our Founder
Shri Moolchand Gupta (1936–2021)
A visionary publisher and educationist, Shri Moolchand Gupta dedicated his life to strengthening Hindi scholarship and academic publishing in India.
Born on 13 September 1936 in Jorawar Nagar village, Sikar district, Rajasthan, he was deeply influenced from an early age by values of social, cultural, and educational service.
To give concrete form to this service-oriented vision, he founded Panchsheel Prakashan on 19 February 1968. Through this institution, he published a wide range of reference, general, and university-level academic works, later establishing Panchsheel Prakashan as a trusted name in textbook publishing.
His integrity, discipline, and respect for authorship continue to guide Panchsheel Prakashan today.
