This book ‘Nutrition and Development of Mothers and Children’ is presented in fifteen chapters.

Chapter one & two are for future parents, their responsibilities & allied aspects of normal, subnormal complications during this period.

An entire development aspects along with nutrition during pregnancy period are briefly elaborated in chapter three & four through pictures, figures & tables.

A preliminary preparation for the birth of Infant in House or Hospital are the major aspects of chapter No. five. Father & mother should be able to enjoy the parenthood without getting highly tensioned emotionally, physically & mentally.

Chapter six & seven describe & elaborate the physiology, function, nutrition & development of this period & the process of Lactation.

Chapter eight & nine are to get aware of the normal, subnormal as well as premature development of Infant. The nutritional needs and their related aspects are covered in these two chapters.

The next chapter ten is devoted towards the common conditions, ailments, diseases of infants & children along with their symptoms & remedial measures for treatment & prevention.

Chapters eleven to fourteen are about Toddlers, Nursery School Children, School Going Children & Adolescents – their nutritional needs & developmental characteristics to help their parents especially mothers to grow them better & healthier.

The last chapter is consolidated with enormous problems with children explaining their probable reasons, symptoms & remedies with only honest intension to help them to become the respected, responsible & dependable national.
