Environmental education can never remain static. It must change with the changing times which inevitably changes our environment. This book is written to bring about an awarness of a variety of environmental concerns. It attempts to create a behavioural pattern in society that is based on creating sustainable lifestyles. This book contain only fifteen chapters. In which we introduce environment and its components, natural resources and associated problems, ecology and ecosystem, biodiversity, environmental pollution, disaster management, environmental problems, population and social issues related to the environment.

It is therefore, desirable to examine changing in various environmental systems.
